Description

Chocolate Apple Pops are the perfect fall party treat. Mix and match your favorite toppings to make them just to your liking!


Ingredients

  • Dark Chocolate Melting Wafers
  • Apples, rinsed and dry
  • caramel apple sticks

Topping ideas:

  • dried cranberries
  • coconut flakes
  • sprinkles
  • chopped nuts
  • crushed pretzels

Instructions

  1. Prepare your desired toppings.
  2. Melt dark chocolate wafers using a double boiler or your microwave. Be sure not to burn the chocolate if you use the microwave.
  3. Slice the apples and pat dry using a paper towel. Carefully insert wooden sticks, trying not to split the apple slice.
  4. Prepare a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  5. Dip or cover in melted chocolate. sprinkle on desired toppings (or roll in toppings). Place on parchment paper. Repeat with each apple slice.
  6. Wait for the chocolate to cool and set, about 30 minute -1 hour. Serve and enjoy the same day, to prevent moisture weeping from the apples.
